Stephen R. Wilson

About Stephen R. Wilson

Stephen is many things to many people. He is, if nothing else, a writer, a wordsmith who distills ideas into concise language for the masses. He has written a regular column for a nationally syndicated magazine and for regional magazines. He has also written in part, or in whole, proposals for business and industries reaching for a piece of the great American pie.

Beyond that, he is a soldier, thus a veteran. A world traveler, therefore, an explorer. He is a non-believer, thus a thinker. And, since he is a thinker, he must therefore also be a dreamer.

He, his wife, and two unruly beagles, live in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina. They are frequently visited by bears, raccoons, snakes of all kinds, those that rattle and those that do not. Their home is near, but not in Asheville.

In the last third of his life, Stephen pursues the Veteran's Administration with great zeal. He continues to write for the construction industry and small business in general. When not sitting at his keyboard, he splits wood and makes ugly furniture as he perpetually wonders where the time has gone.
